A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

The 2014-2015 school year is ending, and we ask parents and guardians to continue to be partners in your child’s education. Calabasas will continue to provide outstanding teachers, a caring and supportive staff, and a safe and fun learning environment. As our partners, we need you to continue to instill in your children the value of education. The best way to do this is to make sure your child ends the school year positively, including arriving each day on time ready to learn, helping him/her with homework, and talking with him/her about ideas and topics that he/she is studying in school. We also strongly encourage you to read with your children now and during the summer, as this is one of the best ways to build their skills and prepare them for a successful 2015-2016 school year.

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate our eighth grade students transitioning to high school. I encourage you become involved at Rio Rico High School. The more you are involved, the more you will benefit from school. Remember that Calabasas is your school and you are always welcome to visit.

Thank you for a positive and rewarding 2014-2015 School Year! Have a great summer; we will see you next school year!

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me by e-mail or telephone at (520) 375-5601.

Your partner in education,

Chris Jackson
